The article examines modern trends in the formation of computer graphics competence among future vocational education teachers. The relevance of the study is determined by the digital transformation of higher education and the need to train teachers who are able to effectively use computer graphics, digital visualization tools and innovative technologies in professional pedagogical activities.
The purpose of the article is to provide theoretical and experimental justification for the effectiveness of innovative technologies in developing computer graphics competence among future vocational education teachers.
The study used methods of scientific and pedagogical literature analysis, questionnaires, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, comparative percentage analysis, and quantitative and qualitative data processing. The experimental study involved 48 second- and third-year students of the educational program 6B01450 – Vocational Training.
The scientific novelty of the study lies in clarifying the pedagogical conditions, diagnostic criteria and level indicators for developing computer graphics competence among future vocational education teachers, as well as in experimentally substantiating a methodological complex that integrates gamification, multimedia visualization, computer graphics software and contextual learning technology.
The results showed positive dynamics in the development of students’ computer graphics competence: the high level increased from 23% to 63%, while the low level decreased from 52% to 18%. These results confirm the effectiveness of the systematic use of innovative technologies in the professional training of future teachers.
