FORMATION OF SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH COMPETENCIES OF COLLEGE STUDENTS THROUGH AN ELECTIVE COURSE BASED ON A REGIONAL COMPONENT

The article considers the issue of the formation of scientific and research competence in professional education organizations based on the regional component as one of the main developing mechanisms of society. As the head of state K. K. Tokayev noted, it is necessary to modernize professional education so that the future specialist fully meets the modern requirements of society. Dynamically developing global innovations require, first of all, the formation of scientific capital. Therefore, it is obvious that the formation of scientific and research competencies among future specialists is becoming an urgent topic. The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the formation of research skills of students using medicinal plants in the learning process. The research used methods of pedagogical control, questionnaires, experimental work and comparative analysis of the results. The article analyzes the literature data on a wide range of topics, reveals the essence of the concept of research competence. an analysis is being carried out. With. Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region, On the basis of the Amanzholov Higher College, 54 students of 1-2 courses of the Laboratory Technology specialty participated in a pedagogical study based on the elective course "formation of research competencies of students using medicinal plants as a regional component" as experimental and control groups. The practical foundations of the formation of research competence on the basis of the college are analyzed, skills are assessed in 3 main aspects: communicative, research, motivational. In the framework of the pedagogical study, while in the experimental group basic skills in all aspects showed an improvement of an average of 20%, in the control group there were small changes. This research work confirms the effectiveness of a practice-oriented model integrated into the educational process through an elective course. The results obtained can be used in professional education organizations and universities.
