THE CONCEPT OF «JUSTICE»: SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE

Abstract

The article discusses the linguistic and cognitive features of the concept of «justice», identified as a result of language research. The concept is considered a cognitive object with cultural and cognitive characteristics. Studying them on a linguistic basis forms an idea of the mentality of the nation.

According to the results of research conducted in cognitive linguistics, concepts are considered as a complex phenomenon in modern society. Historical, linguistic, cognitive layers of concepts allow us to look into the life and worldview of the people. Linguistic and historical research in this direction allows us to form a new idea of the mentality of the people.
