The article addresses the issue of organizing psychological and pedagogical support in the process of pre-profile training of students with special educational needs. The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the content and structure of psychological and pedagogical support that facilitates the professional self-determination of students with special educational needs in the context of special and inclusive education. The main idea of the research is based on considering pre-profile training as an effective means of comprehensive preparation of students with special educational needs for life and professional choices. The scientific significance of the study lies in supplementing the theory of pre-profile training through the systematization of stages and directions of psychological and pedagogical support. The practical significance is determined by the possibility of using the research results by teachers, psychologists, and social educators in educational institutions. The study employed methods of theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, pedagogical observation, and generalization. The essence of the conducted research consists in revealing the theoretical foundations for organizing psychological and pedagogical support in the process of pre-profile training of students with special educational needs. As a result, a structural and content-based model for the effective implementation of psychological and pedagogical support in the process of pre-profile training of students with special educational needs was developed, and its effectiveness in enhancing career guidance outcomes was substantiated.
