Abstract

The article considers that in the 10-th grade of school biology, during the development of complex topics by students at the Department of biotechnology, laboratory work plays an important role in the learning process in many fundamental, generally accepted engineering and special disciplines, as well as classification according to organizational techniques and the nature of management, the main stages are given. Laboratory work on various ways of classifying teaching methods: to methods of visual learning; to methods of independent work of students on comprehension and assimilation of new information; It refers to the methods of educational work on the application of knowledge in practice and the development of skills.

In the course of the current study, samples of a number of laboratory work, laboratory assessment forms and worksheets were collected.  The results obtained during the analysis showed that the training tasks performed within the framework of educational practice in biotechnology had a significant impact on the quality of students' knowledge and proved effective in developing practical knowledge through laboratory work. Through learning outcomes, students have the opportunity to discuss the relationship between biotechnology and genetic engineering, the advantages and disadvantages of biotechnology applications, and the future fields of biotechnology.
