TERMS OF PUBLICATION

  • For publication in the journal, previously unpublished articles by the author(s) in Kazakh, Russian, or English are accepted, provided they align with the journal's thematic focus and comply with the manuscript formatting requirements.
  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, and validity of the research results. During the manuscript review process by the editorial board and reviewers, as well as after its publication, authors commit not to submit the manuscript for consideration or publication in another journal.
  • The manuscripts submitted to the editorial board of the journal must be designed according to the basic publishing standards for the design of articles in accordance with GOST 7.5-98 "Journals, collections, information publications. Publishing design of published materials", article-by-article bibliographic lists in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation".
  • The manuscript must be submitted by the author through the online submission system, including all metadata of the manuscript and its authors.
  • Manuscripts submitted for publication must comply with the Rules for the design of materials sent to the Journal (Appendix A) and the Requirements for the structure of the manuscript for publication in the Journal (Appendix B).
  • The recommended article length is 2,500–8,000 words (excluding author information, abstract, and bibliography). Illustrations, diagrams, and tables included in the article are counted as part of the total text volume.
  • All manuscripts submitted to the editorial board are checked in the StrikePlagiarism system to determine the originality of the text. The degree of originality of the manuscript should be at least 75%. The editorial board has the right to reject manuscripts with a low degree of originality.

  • During the manuscript processing stages, communication between the editorial team, the corresponding author, and reviewers is conducted via the electronic (online) OJS platform on the official journal website: http://journal.zhetysu.edu.kz.

  • The authors of the manuscript accepted for publication in the journal are obliged to make a payment in accordance with the approved price list of the cost of publication in the journal "Bulletin ZU". After payment, a scanned receipt of payment for the publication in pdf or jpeg format is submitted by e-mail.
  • The editorial team of the journal reviews manuscripts submitted by the author(s), organizes their peer review, and makes a decision on publication or rejection within one week of the manuscript's submission on the electronic platform.
  • The final decision on accepting the manuscript for publication is made by the Main Editor.

ARCHIVING AND ACCESSIBILITY

  • The journal «Bulletin of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov» provides free access to all information on the official website of the journal.
  • Authors and readers can familiarize themselves with the electronic version of the current issue, as well as with the archive of the journal for the previous period.

  • To ensure broad informational access to the journal, full electronic copies of the articles are published on the journal's website: http://journal.zhetysu.edu.kz.
