Abstract

History teaching is a pedagogical science that studies the process of teaching history to improve the effectiveness of teaching. The purpose of teaching the discipline is to prepare future specialists for the education and development of students in the educational process on the teaching material of history, teaching history teaching skills and identifying patterns in order to form historical thinking and key competencies of students.

The article analyzes the advantages of interdisciplinary connections in improving the effectiveness of teaching history and characterizes innovative methods of teaching history.
