The purpose of the study is to empirically evaluate the effectiveness of art-therapeutic approaches in enhancing emotional resilience, self-regulation, self-expression, and academic motivation among medical college students. The main idea of the research is to conceptualize art therapy as an effective psychological and pedagogical tool that supports students’ emotional well-being, promotes personal development, and strengthens constructive interpersonal interaction. The study explores the theoretical foundations of art therapy and identifies its psychological-pedagogical potential within the educational environment. The scientific significance lies in clarifying the mechanisms through which art therapy influences students’ emotional stability, social adaptation, and communicative competence. The study expands the theoretical understanding of the role of art therapy in professional education. The practical significance is reflected in the development and justification of effective art-therapeutic practices aimed at reducing emotional tension, improving communication skills, increasing academic motivation, and strengthening students’ psychological health. The methodology included the application of art-therapeutic techniques such as art therapy (drawing therapy), music therapy, drama therapy, and fairy-tale therapy. Diagnostic tools, observation, comparative analysis, and a pedagogical experiment were used to collect data. The obtained results were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Empirical results demonstrate that art-therapeutic interventions significantly reduce emotional stress, enhance empathy, develop self-expression skills, and improve interpersonal communication and adaptive abilities. The study recorded an increase in academic motivation, professional orientation, and emotional resilience. The proportion of students with low emotional stability decreased, while the share of those with a high level increased. Overall, art therapy contributed positively to students’ psychological functioning and emotional well-being. The study highlights the high potential of art therapy as a means of humanizing the educational process, strengthening students’ psychological well-being, and fostering their personal growth. The findings justify the integration of art-therapeutic practices into psychological and pedagogical support systems, particularly within medical educational institutions.
