The article considers the definition of linguistic units and means that convey the mentality of the formation of linguoculturology in teaching a foreign language. Considering culture in language in a broader sense allows for a deeper understanding of the nature of language. The linguistic and cultural background is one of the main means leading to engagement, since on the basis of the formation of linguistic and cultural competence, cultural features of speech are identified and implemented on the basis of a new category in the process of communication. At the same time, one of the urgent problems of modern linguistics arose at the junction of the disciplines of cultural studies and linguistics and is devoted to the study of the influence and specificity of folk culture in language. Currently, the study of the manifestation of folk culture in language is an important issue in linguistics. Most linguistic research focuses very much on language communication as a form of human activity over the next decade.
The formation of a new type of personality, possessing high culture, possessing a system of common values, capable of living in a multicultural world, with mature knowledge, skills and abilities, formed skills and abilities, able to apply the acquired knowledge at the moment and function effectively, is the main goal of the modern subject of intercultural communication. At the same time, linguistic and cultural competence is of particular importance for students at present, since joint teaching of a foreign language and the culture of peoples speaking this language opens up many new opportunities. And in order to get to know modern culture, students should familiarize themselves with the linguistic and cultural characteristics of the country studying the language of a foreign language, study its traditions and customs, learn to respect them, be ready to find common interests for each other and expand knowledge about their national culture.
