Abstract
In the article "Development of creative abilities of junior schoolchildren through non-traditional drawing techniques" the author conduct a study aimed at clarifying the essence of the concepts of "technique" and "non-traditional drawing techniques", as well as the consideration of different types of drawing techniques and their influence on the development of creative abilities of children.
The purpose of the study is to comprehend the role of non-traditional drawing techniques in the formation of creativity in children.
The research methodology includes analyzing concepts, conducting a review of non-traditional drawing techniques, and studying their influence on the development of a child's personality. The authors present a brief description of the scientific and practical significance of their work, emphasizing the importance of understanding the role of non-traditional drawing techniques in the context of the formation of children's creative abilities.
The main results and analysis of the study are presented in explaining the essence of the concepts and classification of drawing techniques, as well as in assessing their impact on the development of children's creative abilities. The conclusions of the research work emphasize the importance of taking into account pictorial activities in pedagogical practice and recommendations for teachers on the optimal use of various drawing techniques to stimulate creative thinking in children.

The practical significance of the work is to offer specific recommendations for the use of various drawing techniques in educational processes in order to effectively develop children's creative abilities.
